Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced business and analytics leader to join the team as a Director.

Your responsibilities will include:

Operations management – Support global logistics and fulfillment operations. This includes negotiating with our warehouses and shipping companies, creating and maintaining processes for measuring vendor efficiency, and monitoring costs versus revenues. Work with engineering to add new features to support cost management. Create, maintain and report on warehouse performance metrics. Track inventory across all warehouses in the network.

Pricing management – Work with product management to manage customer pricing.

Business analysis - Integrate data and analytics into financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Use superb analytics and business judgment to identify, prioritize, structure and solve complex business problems. Drive to actionable insights and recommendations; communicate them to senior management. Provide hands-on guidance and (when required) personally perform deep-dives using analytical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets. Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics, and organizational clarity and alignment for key business metrics. Manage multiple analytical projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment. Collaborate with various Shipwire teams to maximize the value Shipwire extracts from data and analytics. Build and manage a team of motivated, team-oriented, top-caliber analysts.

We are looking for a sales executive with demonstrated experience building a Salesforce-centric, data driven sales team, in a compressed time frame. We are looking for expertise with long lead time, long duration SaaS products. The ideal candidate can show examples of taking complex pricing, transforming it into saleable pricing packages, building sales forecasts for these packages, staffing and training inbound and outbound teams for these packages, and ultimately beating forecasts.
