HomeAbout ShipwireBlog

This is a great blog post by a “Mompreneur” and “Dadpreneur” about some of the pros and cons of outsourcing order fulillment. The blog post has a great write-up of some of their decision making criteria and when to look to outsource.

“My wife and I looked into many order fulfillment companies and we highly recommend ShipWire (sic)”.

The writers really took the time to lay out the thought process that they went through. Their criteria of a good product to outsource fulfillment is correct and something we constantly try and communicate: High margin products work better than low margin, consumer packaged/repeatable product (rather than 1-off or customizable products) and focus on the best sellers in your product catalog. Bravo for calling all that out.

What is also interesting about this article is that all the links are optimized to track conversion within the Shipwire shipping affiliate partner program. So, if they help merchants choose Shipwire, they get credit within our affiliate program.

I urge you to take a look at the article. How to outsource Product Fulfillment for an online store. Their graphic is great, so I’ll post it here.
