Poof founders Jamee Kunichika and Sherilyn Luke had a decade-long dream of starting a business together. Luke states, “since we both have full-time jobs, Jamee manages a pro bono law program, and I have a photography business and a new baby, we don’t have time to spare. With Shipwire, we can run and grow our dream business in the little time we have left.”
Impossible odds? Not with the help of Shipwire. “It was a perfect fit for our new business and busy lives” notes Jamee. Using Shipwire’s online wizard, Luke was able to get set up with Shipwire’s automated storage and shipping solutions in just a few minutes. “We couldn’t have come this far without Shipwire,” says Luke. “Now we have blown through our first 10,000 bottles, and the orders keep coming in.” Kunichika adds, “We couldn’t do it without Shipwire, we just couldn’t handle the shipping.” Shipwire enabled them to concentrate on spreading the word to upscale boutiques. When sales exploded after a writeup in RedBook Magazine, Luke says, “We processed it all through Shipwire, no sweat and our retailers were really happy that we could keep their inventory stocked. It worked great.”
