Shipwire releases new features

Shipwire recently released some upgrades to our Store-Sell-Ship® platform. If you are new to Shipwire, Store-Sell-Ship is our control panel that allows anybody to control their business storage and shipping across our warehouses in the U.S., Canada and U.K.

Most of these new features are in direct response to feedback by our merchants. So please continue to send us suggestions. Here are few of the features:

Account History Improvements – Want to see how many items you shipped in a specific time period? Or interested in seeing the total number of items held on a back order? Now you can quickly get at this information through the history summary counts. In addition, for accounts with a lot of transactions, you’ll love the fact you can now see many more results per page. And on a per order basis, we’ve added more details such as number of items in the order, as well as the source or destination warehouse. Image below.
order fulfillment and inventory management software. Improvements to the Shipwire Store-Sell-Ship order fulfillment platform to help you better see your order history.

Receiving status indicator – Quickly see the status of inventory you are sending to Shipwire, including visibility on where it is in the receiving progress, and the date product is expected to be ready for shipment.

Visual interface to see your inventory receiving process

Inventory Web Services API Improvements – Track the inventory available in any specific warehouse simply by passing the warehouse region code, similar to how you might do this when sending an order. And for developers who would like to see what XML is being passed to Shipwire, you can now enable the ‘Display of API Order Details’ which will include a link to the XML in your Order details. This preference is available in Account Setup.

Address Correction –
For those of you who force addresses through Shipwire address validation systems, instead of putting them on hold, we have added an additional check to verify how significant a correction is. In most cases, system corrected addresses will be right. But when major corrections are detected, we have added this check to allow you to put those orders up for review (the default). This new control is exposed through a setting in the Shipwire Shipping Preferences.

Thank you again for your continued feedback, and for taking the time to make Shipwire work for you. We look forward to hearing about how these, or other recent changes work from you, as well as where you’d like us to continue improving the platform.
