About our roadmap
For modern APIs to be useful, they must evolve to meet your needs as they emerge. Our Roadmap shows you our planned timeline for updating new APIs and features, and we welcome your feedback on how our development plan aligns with your needs. Please note that while we will do our best to deliver to stated forward looking commitments, these are subject to change. Any changes that occur will be reflected back in this living roadmap.

The Address Validation API is now available. This API enables selected Platform users to validate addresses entered by end customers as part of the checkout process. Previously, if an entered address was invalid, the Shipwire Platform would put the order on hold and require the Platform user to log into the application to resolve the issue. The new API should significantly cut down on order delays as a result of invalid address holds by enabling the end customer to correct the issue in real time.
The Purchase Order webhooks is now available. This feature enables users to subscribe to Purchase Order events in real-time such as: When an order is created or updated, status updates on orders, when orders are on hold, and much more.
The Purchase Order API has been upgraded to allow freight summary information, shipping windows and must arrive by windows to ensure retail compliance. The Shipwire Platform is currently shipping retail replenishment orders to the following retailers: Amazon, BestBuy, Costco, Eurpac, Kohls, Marbles, MicroCenter, Navarre, ProAudioStar, Target, ThinkGeek, Toys R Us, VintageKing and Walmart.
The Stock Transition webhooks has been upgraded to include a subset that is only triggered for “good” product stock changes (e.g. when an order is placed or inventory is received at a warehouse).
Fulfillment Relay, a feature of Dropship for Retailers, has been released. Shipwire Platform customers can now automatically receive or dispatch orders to or from other Shipwire Platform accounts.
The Webhooks RESTful API has been upgraded to create new purchase orders, or to update, cancel, approve or to get information about already created purchase orders. A purchase order will create one or more fulfillment orders. Use this API to stay informed about purchase order activities, in near real-time.
The Product API has been upgraded so that returned API errors are more specific and granular. This helps those developing around the API to better understand how to handle various error conditions.
The Purchase Order API is now available. Use this API to create new purchase orders, or to update, cancel, approve or to get information about already created purchase orders.
The Stock RESTful API has been upgraded to support inventory adjustments from Shipwire Anywhere warehouses. Our platform customers can now adjust inventory by providing either delta or quantity information.
