Behind AllSaints forced Russia shipment suspension

AllSaints (a large retailer)was forced to suspend their shipping service in Russia. Despite owning 70 stores across Europe and America including Moscow, the British retailer’s deliveries heading to Russia have been subject to lock down by customs. Industry experts such as Shipwire have recommended merchants to think twice before shipping to private individuals in Russia.
According to Shipwire, “One of the biggest issues we have seen is that the carrier gets the shipment to Russian customs only to have it stuck”¦for a long-time. As anybody who sells online knows, some overseas buyers will say that is the shipper’s problem and will start canceling orders, initiating charge-backs, or causing a large support hassle.”
