osCommerce is a powerful open-source ecommerce solution. It is built for the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and is one of the oldest open source ecommerce solutions that is still actively maintained. Shipwire has created an osCommerce module that can be easily added to merchant ecommerce storefronts running osCommerce 2.2. If you are running an earlier version, we recommend that you upgrade to version 2.2 to use the Shipwire module.
NOTE: This module is currently part of a public Beta. If you experience issues with the module, please contact Shipwire and describe the problem, provide relevant order IDs, and include the version of osCommerce you are using.
Order Entry – Orders are submitted to Shipwire from your e-commerce store automatically via our Order Entry API. Once your online store receives an order, Shipwire takes care of the rest.
First, find and connect your cart within your Shipwire account, then follow the steps below to configure it.
- Once you’ve added osCommercece as a Third Party Connector, download the .zip file. This file contains the Shipwire module for osCommerce (with full source editing if you need to make changes).
- The .zip file also contains a readme.txt file with instructions to guide you through the installation of the module in your 2.2 osCommerce powered store.
Third Party Modules:
- Shipwire osCommerce XML shipping rate API connection. (Shipwire merchant services does not provide support for this Third-party module).
